scarf obsession ft. that girl crochet

i have a confession to make. i love scarves. i may very well even be addicted to them. i wear lighter ones in the spring/summer & throughout the fall/winter you can pretty much always find me with a knitted one around my neck. it's the truth. i don't mind this addiction because i truly feel like i get good use out of all of my scarves, plus they're so pretty/cozy that i just can't help myself!

happy hallowe'en!

this year we had a party at our place on saturday night [which was awesome!] so it totally feels like hallowe'en has already passed even though it's today. i dressed up as snow white as you can see and considering it was mostly last minute, it came together pretty well i thought!

...just realized that if mikey had of gone as what he went last year this year, he could have been one of my seven dwarfs, darn! 

i, like everyone else, am wondering where the hell october went? is this a sign of getting older - when days and months and YEARS go by so damn fast you don't even know what's happening? it must be. it's getting crazy though...this summer pretty much didn't even exist it went by so quickly and i feel like before we know it, it'll be christmas!

did you dress up this year, what did you go as? i don't think i'll ever grow tired of costume parties! but now that hallowe'en is over [or it will be at the end of the day] it's time to think christmas!

also i got to see this pretty girl on sunday & it just about made my week...except for the fact that we both got sick soon after and that really sucks.

sunday i am going to visit one of my favourite friends (are you allowed to have those? lol) julie in toronto for some hangouts & shopping and i am beyooond excited. it's been awhile since we've seen each other & she is always the burst of sunshine that i need ♥

oh ya, my boyfriend is a total babe, didn't you know? this is such a good photo of him (if i do say so myself) i love it! he got his haircut too, i don't think blog-world knows about that yet!

one of my 'fall goals' if you will - or rather, life goals i should say, is to get more comfy with my camera & better at taking photos as it is something i truly enjoy 
(plus i spent $500+ on a camera so i should probably use it, right?)

this past thanksgiving weekend, we went to my parents place. fall is my favourite season because everything seems so fresh & colourful - and the trees are stunning! i had a great thanksgiving - two amazing dinners & a few days off to relax. we went for a walk one day which resulted in these photos...these were my favourites of the bunch.

the cats & dogs in my life...or rather cat & dog as there's only one of each. i was just messing around with my camera as it's been on my list of goals for months now...learn how to really use my DSLR since i paid so much money for it, i should really know how to use it, right?

meet eleanor. if you follow me on instagram (@missteacups) then you've seen this cute face before. she is our bosses dog and we puppy sit her somewhat often & she always makes for a cute photo op. i couldn't decide if i liked the colour photo i edited better than the black & white. i always have a soft spot for b&w for some reason...

this one of andy i really messed around with the clarity, but kind of really loved the outcome.

i feel like the lighting in this one is a good depiction of our place. it's basically sepia toned in our living room.

i'm pretty sure that i have introduced you to my friends (who happen to be my bosses) baby...if i haven't (i'm pretty certain i have...) his name is clive & yes, he is in fact the cutest baby you will ever see...in your entire life. days when he pops by the shop are my favourite as i get some baby cuddles in and oooooh my goodness, he gets cuter & cuter everyday. look at that faaaaace.
