it's been awhile hasn't it?

my mum sent me an email saying "hi you must be busy this week my girl....not much blogging happening" haha and then i realized it was true! it's been a whole week since my last post. it doesn't seem that long since i've still been reading everyones post (i haven't been ignoring blogger completely!) i guess i was busy'ish this week but i also didn't really feel like i had much to blog about! that happens sometimes...especially when i have a million other things on my mind/am super stressy (whiiiiich i have been, ugh!) mainly money & school...which are kind of going hand in hand right now. plus i feel like a change but i don't know in what aspect of my life just yet...anyway!

my new favourite lippy.

i'm not a huge lipstick person, normally i feel funny wearing it...like i'm trying to be someone i'm not or something? haha maybe that sounds funny. i think it's because i was always a lip balm or lip chap girl (tub of blistex is still my favourite) but sometimes you want some colour & if you're like me you don't really dig the glossy look...behold! nude lipstick. for me it's the perfect shade darker than my pale skin & i love it; gives it that bit of colour and is nicer/smoother then wearing concealer on your lips (yes, i often do this...or rather, did this) this feels much better! & you could still throw some gloss over it and it would look pretty too :)

there is a yoga studio going into the open space that has been up for rent in my building for a few months, yoga!! i've never tried (other then the at-home dvds which are blah) & i'm so excited! right below my apartment too, just a few steps downstairs & i'm there...can't wait to start!

yesterday went by pretty quickly at work for a monday, which was nice...here's hoping today is the same! this weekend was nice. i spent it at home, didn't tell any of my friends that i was coming home and just hungout with my family and relaxed. went to visit my gramma, did some shopping with mum, ordered chinese, had multiple glasses of wine & good conversation with mum&dad and then dad drove me (& my bike!) home on sunday.

1. when do you feel happiest?
usually when work is over (yay!) & if i have something fun planned with mikey or friends...going home for the weekend...or when i have something fun to look forward (i ♥ having things to look forward to!)

2. how do you take care of yourself?
hm, i'm not sure i do? i mean, i take care of myself on a day to day basis by eating (mostly) healthy and making sure i get enough sleep, i try to remember to take vitamins, i try to get exercise, etc...but is that what this question really means?

3. are you internally (by yourself) or externally (by others) motivated?
i am definitely motivated/inspired by others...rarely do i come up with something i think is really neat all by myself. that doesn't make me sound very original, does it? haha.

4. what do you do for fun?
there's 2 ways...1) quietly: making a mug of tea, catching up on blogs & emails, reading a good book, hanging out at home, watching a movie or making a good meal with mikey & 2) wildly: going out for drinks, dancing with friends, staying out late, party party!

5. what intimidates you?
normally it's a 'who' intimidates me. people who i don't know very well yet generally intimidate me. also good looking people generally intimidate me.

6. what is something you're proud of?
to be honest, my relationship with mikey. i'm proud that i didn't run or push him away like i often did with relationships when i was younger. i'm proud that i pushed through hard times and didn't just give up because it was the easy thing to do.

feel like i have remembered to turn off the hair straightener (does anyone else have this daily fear?)

8. favorite vacation spot.
well, i haven't really 'vacationed' much in my (almost) 24 years, but of the places i have been i really loved family vacations in florida. i have a lot of nice memories from those trips (& miss family vacations)

probably a 3...nothing too exciting happened...went to work, came home, hungout & watched crappy tv and soon i'll be in bed; blah.
