last night was the best. hands down, THE.BEST! had a good dinner with the famjam on a patio in the molson amphitheatre, dranks lots & had good chats. i seriously have the best family in the world! honest to goodness.

so. the show was absolutely out of this world. not only did they play my three favourite songs; stellar, dig & aqueous transmissions (i would have been happy with just one/three but no, all three favourites...i actually cried when they started aqueous. that song is more like a religious experience for me) anyway, they also played circles which is my brother & i's song, haha ya...we have a song!i honestly couldn't have asked for a better night. some funny stuff happened as well...i'll save the stories for another time though. after the show, kyle & i went to the firkin to continue drinking...mmm, so much beer. saw lots of friends and ya, fantastic night. stayed awake until 5am, oops.

that makes me the happiest girl in the world!

today i had the best workout. it feels so good to work up a good sweat, come home and have a freezing cold shower, using a yummy smelling body wash with a big loofa. then i made myself a corn beef & cucumber sandwhich on whole wheat toast; mmm mmm! i plan on making some changes around here...

incase you don't know me as well as some do...my favourite band is incubus, i have seen them numerous times in concerts (most of those times with at least one member of my family as we're all big fans) and i am going to see them again this thursday night (with the famjam) & couldn't be more excited about it!!

it's been a long time since i've been to a good show and incubus allllllways puts on a good show (except that one time when brandon boyd didn't take off his shirt and like, he alllllways takes off his shirt when he plays shows. haha, kidding [sorta. it would have been nice to see his lovely bod] but, it was still a really good show!)

anyway! these two days off will be much needed...today ends my six day work week. i really REALLY need to find a job that gives me more time to spend with mikey, not just two hours a day (if we're lucky) and friends...who i really only get to see like once or twice a month (again, if i'm lucky) ho hum...such is life, right? well, no. let me rephrase that. such is MY life.

beautiful boys. make me realize life isn't so bad sometimes.

i think these are gorgeous. obviously a little bit pricey just to buy yourself...but definitely gorgeous for wedding bands and such (not that i'm thinking about that...seriously) they are all just very pretty! & besides, i already told mikey that if he doesn't get me this ring (but in silver)...

then i'm not marrying him. haha. i think it would be awesome/hilarious to have a hello kitty engagement ring...or just ring in general that costs like $200-$500 but when people look at it, would assume that it's just costume jewellery like (most) of my other rings. but no, it would be super expensive! & sparkly! & pretty!

...that was fun! i saw that on someone elses' blog and thought it was a cute idea. i just did a face mask and it always leaves my face so soft & clean; lovely.

so! remember that commissioned painting i've been working on this past week? the one that's going into a new bar here in town? well it's finished & i am super pleased with the way it turned out.

i think it's going to be a pretty neat feeling to go into a bar and see my painting hanging there! anyway, hope everyone had a nice weekend! i worked everyday & am on day 4/6 days straight, so far so good. i don't mind this new 4.45-midnight shift as i can get a lot done during the days!

i have taken up knitting again and i'm super excited about it! it's nice having lots of different hobbies & something new to do. plus i have a job that i can knit at which is awesome...i hope to have scarves done in lots of pretty colours for all my friends for christmas!

oooo eeee! my day has just been made. i owe SO much less on my visa than i thought & that my friends, is the making of a great day! i have less than $100 left to pay so it'll be all paid off by friday day which is pay day; phwef! and i'm going to try extra extra hard not to put anything on it...all my extra monies needs to go to my savings account which is also grow-grow-growing!

oh wait...before i get all grown up and serious and stuff, i made this purchase yesterday on ebay! hello kitty optical mouse (& pen! haha) for $9! isn't it so cute? i actually needed this as well! i have been looking for a cute mouse for my laptop for quite some time now...

i need new hair. i'm tired of growing mine out...i don't know if i want to cut it. i want it to be long but i know that by the time it gets long, i'll just want to do something different with it, ya know? cause that always happens. cause i'm a girl. and it's what we do. but if i were to cut it...i don't know what haircut i'd want. i feel like most people who have short hair now, have the same haircut. and i wouldn't want it to be super short, i'd want that medium between short and shoulder length, ya know?

i think i almost need to cut it. i'm tired of wearing it back like i always do...it's getting boring and i'm tired of my hair feeling blah. i want fun hair that i feel good about...growing it out just isn't fun.
